Community Settings¶
Community settings let you configure all core aspects of an individual community. The page has two tabs: General and Moderators.
Tab: General¶

| Field | Description |

| Description | Free-text description of the community, visible in the community profile |
| Logo URL | URL to an external image used as the community avatar |
| Join mode | Controls how users can join: Open / Invite / Request |
| Default member role | Role automatically assigned to newly joining members |
| Associated areas | Location labels (e.g. "Rinklingen") used for content routing |
Click "Bearbeiten" (Edit) in the bottom right to enter edit mode.
Associated areas and routing
The areas entered here determine which content from external sources is routed to this community. Content whose source area matches will automatically appear in this community's feed. See Routing Rules for details.
Tab: Moderators¶

This tab shows all active moderators of the community with email, username, and join date.
Adding a moderator¶
Click "Moderator hinzufügen" (Add moderator) in the bottom right and search for an existing user.
Removing a moderator¶
Click the remove icon next to a moderator entry.
Users must already exist
A user can only be added as moderator if they already have an account on the instance.
