Here you find task-oriented guides for everyday life with locali — from opening the app for the first time to setting up your own hub. Each guide is deliberately short: it answers "How do I do this?". When you want to understand a topic in depth, links take you to the detailed feature descriptions.

First steps¶
New here? The members guide starts at the very beginning: install locali as an app (no app store needed), find your way around the navigation, and understand what you can do as a guest and as a member.
Everyday use: feed, spaces, places and organisations¶
The members guide covers daily use — each as a short step-by-step guide:
- Feed — read, open and filter posts
- Spaces — join, preview before joining, leave
- Places — the public map and list of useful spots, with radius filter and proposals
- Organisations — browse the public directory of local actors
- Events & Get Involved — subscribe to calendars, request or offer help

Publishing yourself: for clubs, institutions and businesses¶
If you represent an organisation, you can write posts and events straight into locali — they appear on your organisation page, in the matching spaces and in the town calendar. The guide covers enabling it, writing and sharing, and your own RSS and calendar feeds.

Asking questions: "Ask locali"¶
If the operator has enabled the AI feature, you can ask in plain language — locali searches the hub's content for the answer and shows the sources.
Notifications under control¶
Your inbox collects what matters to you — in real time. Optionally, web push (directly in the browser) and email come on top; what you receive is up to you.
Want locali to look different?¶
Light or dark mode, high contrast, eight accent colours — all configurable per device.
